The British Horse Society Changing Lives Through Horses programme is an educational and character-building programme which encompasses the development of life skills and academic achievement within an equine environment through a structured award based programme that links to national curriculum.
The programme is aimed at children and young people from 5 – 25 who may be disengaged with education and / or have additional SEN that would benefit from access to an alternative provision pathway. Post 16 students may be NEET or at risk of social exclusion. The programme works closely and in partnership with schools, local authorities and other referral agencies.
BHS Approved Riding Centres provide a safe, outdoor environment with qualified and experienced Accredited Professional Coaches where young people can learn and engage.
Please contact us to talk about group sizes/time scales and costs.
